Terms of Service

Effective September 21, 2026 · Last updated September 26, 2026

These terms govern your use of Project Money at projectmoney.app (“Project Money,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Contact: wravager@gmail.com.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your linked sign-in accounts and devices, and use only financial accounts and records you own or are authorized to manage. If you use Project Money for a business, you must have authority to act for that business. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

What the service provides

Project Money provides financial organization and planning tools, including account tracking, transactions, recurring schedules, forecasts, tax and retirement estimates, business records, and collectibles. Features may be experimental, incomplete, or unavailable for some accounts, institutions, devices, or regions.

Project Money is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, tax preparer, insurer, or financial custodian. The app does not hold your funds, execute payments or trades, or file tax returns. Adding a recurring payment creates a planning entry; it does not pay a bill or instruct a bank to transfer money.

Estimates and your decisions

Forecasts, debt interest, tax brackets, Social Security estimates, retirement projections, AI card identification, and collectible values depend on assumptions and available data. They may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or different from actual outcomes. A card value is not an offer to buy, an authenticated appraisal, or a guaranteed sale price. Review scan results and calculations before relying on them.

The service provides general information, not personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Verify important information with your institution, official records, or a qualified professional. You remain responsible for payments, filings, recordkeeping, and financial decisions.

Connected services

Bank connections require your authorization through Plaid and/or your financial institution. They provide supported read-only information; you can disconnect them. Providers control coverage, availability, update timing, and their own terms. Disconnecting does not necessarily delete historical records already imported. Identity providers, passkey providers, hosting services, and card data providers also have their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in information and files you provide. You grant us a limited permission to host, store, process, transmit to relevant service providers, and display that content as necessary to operate the features you request, secure the service, and fulfill legal obligations, consistent with the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your content or authorize its sale.

Do not upload information you have no right to use or disclose. Keep independent copies of records you need. Export options are available for supported data; contact us for account closure or deletion requests.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, infringement, harassment, unauthorized access, or distribution of harmful code. Do not attempt to access another user’s data, bypass authentication or usage limits, disrupt the service, or misrepresent a financial institution or another person. Use automated access only where expressly supported or authorized.

Availability, changes, and fees

We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, including connections and AI tools. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, failures, abuse prevention, or third-party changes. We do not promise uninterrupted service or permanent availability of any provider or feature.

Creating an account does not authorize a charge or bank payment. Optional paid memberships disclose their monthly price, connection limits, and applicable taxes before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through the provider where you purchased them (Stripe for web purchases, or the applicable native app store). Cancellation, refunds, and billing changes are handled through that provider, subject to its terms and applicable law. Personal and business memberships are separate purchases.

Connection limits count financial-institution logins rather than each account returned by that login. Loans use bank slots and retirement accounts use investment slots. Manual accounts do not consume connection slots. Business limits apply to each business. A downgrade preserves saved records and existing connections, but prevents new connections and businesses above the new plan limit. Signing out or deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Your bank, internet provider, or other independent services may charge their own fees.

Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the service at any time and request account closure at wravager@gmail.com. We may restrict or suspend access for violations, security concerns, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Where practical and permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to obtain your records. Data handling after closure follows the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee any savings, investment return, tax result, retirement benefit, or collectible value.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by inaccurate third-party data, unavailable third-party services, or decisions you make based on estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

App ownership and third-party names

The Project Money application, design, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party marks, card names, images, and data remain the property of their respective owners. References to banks, card brands, or other providers do not imply their endorsement of Project Money.

Updates and questions

We may revise these terms and will update the date above. Material changes will receive additional notice where required, and new consent will be requested where necessary. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the service and contact us about exporting or deleting your data. Questions or disputes can be sent to wravager@gmail.com; these terms do not waive your right to remedies available under applicable law.
